Joseph Hutchinson Contracting was established in 1981 and was later incorporated in 1983 and became Joseph Hutchinson Contracting Corporation. JHCC is a general construction firm, specializing in lead abatement and home improvement. JHCC is licensed, bonded and insured in the jurisdiction of New York and currently works on a contract basis for the City of New York Department of Housing Preservation and Development. JHCC began involvement with H.P.D's Primary Prevention Program in 2004, and to date has successfully completed seven (7) buildings in a timely fashion, without incidence. The projects ranged from a one (1) family building to a thirty seven (37) unit building, which included the common areas and fire escapes.
JHCC has a team of hardworking, reliable and honest employees who are professionals and are dedicated to the art of remodeling and renovation. Our workforce consist of Lead Abatement Supervisors and Lead Abatement Workers who are all certified by the United States Environmental Protection Agency.
JHCC is certified by the NYC Department of Small Business Services, the NYC School Construction Authority, and the Port Authority of NY and NJ, as Minority and Women Business Enterprise and Locally Based Enterprise. We are also certified by the Port Authority of NY and NJ as Small Business Enterprise.
